THE CHAMBER
Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry – Batangas (PCCI-BATANGAS), formerly known as Batangas Province Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BPCCI) is a non-stock, non-profit and non-political membership organization which actively promotes and upholds the economic interests of businessmen and entrepreneurs in Batangas engaged in manufacturing, trade, commerce, industry, agriculture, small and medium enterprise and services. PCCI-BATANGAS aims to foster closer relations, understanding and cooperation among the different sectors of the local economy by unifying them into a strong and solid organization for the better enhancement of economic growth and development in Batangas.
Since 1978, by virtue of Letter of Instruction No. 780, the Philippine Chamber of Commerce & Industry has been recognized as the “sole official representative and voice of the entire private business community. ”LOI 780 further states:“ in the pursuit of its lofty objective, PCCI deserves the encouragement, assistance and support of the Government.” PCCI-BATANGAS is the local Chamber affiliated with the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI).
PCCI, through local chambers such as PCCI-BATANGAS achieves its vision and mission through focused advocacy for business growth, strategic business services, and national/international networking for the long-term benefit of our businesses and people. As the single voice of Philippine business, PCCI is a critical catalyst in building globally competitive enterprises in partnership with local chambers and other affiliated business organizations.
PCCI represents the business sector in a number of government bodies tasked with policy formulation and implementation. These include the following:

VISION
PCCI is the voice of Philippine business recognized by government and international institutions. As a proactive catalyst of development, PCCI promotes and supports the drive for globally competitive Philippine enterprises in partnership with government, local chambers, and other business organizations.
MISSION
The main responsibility of PCCI is to provide focused advocacy for business growth and sustainable development by providing business services for the advancement of grassroots entrepreneurship, chamber development, international trade relations, business innovation and excellence, and operating efficiency. These will be achieved through a professional organization working in close cooperation with various stakeholders in public and private sectors.
